Unified by Design Pty Ltd (ABN 93 642 857 510) trading as Unified Signage (“Unified Signage”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website, quote process, Design Studio, orders, delivery, support and business communications.
We intend to handle personal information consistently with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles where they apply, and to follow this policy as a matter of good business practice.
We may collect your name, business name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery details, postcode, quote and order information, expected budget and timeframe, communications, support history and payment status. We do not ask you to send full payment-card details through the quote form.
We also collect drawings, plans, logos, photographs, site details, dimensions, specifications and other project material you upload or send. Our website and security services may collect IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral or advertising campaign information, cookie identifiers and security-check results.
Please do not include sensitive personal information or personal information about another person in a drawing or message unless it is reasonably necessary and you have authority to provide it.
We collect information directly from you through the website, quote form, email, telephone, meetings, approved drawings and orders. We may also receive relevant information from your authorised representative, designer, builder, installer, property manager, courier or referral source.
Information may be held in our business systems and by contracted cloud hosting, file storage, email, security, accounting and customer service providers. Drawing download links sent with quote notifications are time-limited; expiry of a link does not necessarily mean the underlying business record has been deleted.
We use personal information to respond to enquiries; prepare and administer quotes; review drawings; design, manufacture and deliver signage; manage approvals and payments; provide support; verify website submissions; prevent fraud and spam; maintain records; improve our services; comply with law; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We may send service messages about your enquiry or order. We only send marketing where permitted by law, and you may opt out at any time using the message instructions or by contacting us.
We may disclose only the information reasonably needed to our staff, related service businesses, manufacturers, fabricators, designers, installers, engineers, couriers, freight providers, cloud and website hosts, file storage providers, email delivery services, security and anti-spam providers, analytics providers, payment and accounting providers, professional advisers, insurers and authorities.
We do not sell personal information. Contractors are expected to use information only for the relevant service or as required by law. We may disclose information in a business restructure or sale subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
Some technology, email, security and cloud providers may process or store information outside Australia. Depending on the provider and its infrastructure, locations may include the United States and other countries where the provider operates. These locations can change and it may not always be practicable to identify every country.
Where Australian privacy law applies, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances when engaging overseas providers. By using online services, you acknowledge that overseas recipients may be subject to different privacy laws, without limiting any rights you have under Australian law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so please contact us before sending unusually sensitive or commercially confidential material if you want to discuss an alternative method.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for quoting, production, delivery, support, warranty, legal, tax, insurance and dispute purposes. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or de-identify it, subject to backups and legal retention obligations.
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request a correction by emailing admin@unifiedprojects.com.au. We may need to verify your identity. If an exception permits us to refuse access or correction, we will explain the reason where required and tell you about available complaint options.
Send privacy questions or complaints to admin@unifiedprojects.com.au or by post to Unified Signage, 6/1 Kite Street, Emu Plains NSW 2750. Please describe the issue and the resolution you seek. We will acknowledge and investigate the matter and aim to respond within 30 days.
If Australian privacy law applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy when our practices, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published here with its updated date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable and required.
