Soft rear illumination
A controlled light wash outlines each letter without relying on a glowing front face.
Architectural back-lit lettering
Halo-lit letters sit away from the mounting surface so rear-facing LEDs wash light around each form. The result is subtle and dimensional, but the wall colour, texture, standoff distance, ambient light, and letter spacing all matter.

Metallic, painted, or dark letter faces remain a deliberate architectural detail when switched off.
Wall texture, colour, reflectance, and mounting depth are reviewed as part of the effect.
Planning the right solution
Halo lighting reflects from the surface behind the letters. Smooth, light-coloured walls usually create a more even wash than dark, heavily textured, or reflective surfaces. A clear site photograph helps set realistic expectations.
Because the face itself may not illuminate, its material and finish carry the daytime identity. Powder-coated, painted, brushed, or other specified finishes can be coordinated with the surrounding architecture and brand palette.
Each illuminated element needs a practical cable route and connection plan. Early coordination with the wall build-up and electrician helps keep cable exits, drivers, isolation, and access discreet.
Smooth, non-reflective surfaces generally produce the most even halo. Dark, mirrored, deeply textured, or uneven surfaces should be reviewed with a site photo before the effect is confirmed.
Yes—the letter faces and returns form a dimensional sign when the LEDs are off. Selecting a finish with suitable contrast is important.
Yes. Choose Halo-lit letters in the Design Studio, set the colour and width, then upload a location photograph to position a concept on the proposed wall.
